Mission
“Connecting People to Jesus”
This mission statement comes from 2 Cor. 5:20 where we are called Chirst’s ambassadors pleading with people to “Come back to God.” This simple statement is what motivates everything we do. Our desire is to see those who do not have a relationship with Jesus united with Him. Sin has broken our relationship with God but Jesus has broken sin! God accomplishes this with believing people in community, the local church, who are on Mission Together. PACC is committed to bringing people back to God one person at a time through Gathering, Growing and Going.

Vision
“Gathering, Growing and Going”
We believe Jesus calls us to be active in meeting the true needs of the poor and disenfranchised in our community. We believe Jesus calls us to see new believers and existing believers growing in their walk with God and connecting people to Jesus.
Gathering, Growing and Going is the strategy God has given us to fulfill the vision of seeing multiple church sites in our community. We faithfully Gather together to worship our Savior, hear God’s Word and experience the Holy Spirit. We also devote ourselves to coming together in community groups to Grow in who we are in Christ and what He has for us. The purpose of Gathering and Growing are to propel us to Go and accomplish the Mission of ‘connecting people to Jesus’.
The process comes full circle when as we Go into new parts of our community and establish community groups for the purpose of Growing, we reach a point where we have multiple community groups in that area and are able to launch a Gathering.
Gathering, Growing and Going are not mutually exclusive. They overlap in every area of church and life. It is essential for us to participate in each dynamic. This isn’t required to bring us justification or any kind of righteousness, rather it is in response to the amazing grace God has shown us in His Son Jesus Christ and the incredible redemptive work Christ did on the cross.
Our prayer is that this mission and vision would become your mission and vision. It wouldn’t be a “wouldn’t that be nice if that happened” statement. Instead it would be a “this must happen” statement! As we join together to build, may we be captivated by the potential of the church and God’s transforming power!
We Believe
The Bible
We embrace the Bible as Truth and inspired by God. Therefore it is essential for our faith and life. As believers we should faithfully study and apply it to our lives.
2 Timothy 3:16-17; 1 Corinthians 2:12-13
The Godhead
There is one eternal, living, loving, powerful and true God, the Creator of all things, existing in three distinct persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14
Jesus Christ
The Lord Jesus Christ is the Savior of all. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He was fully God and fully man, yet lived without sin. He walked, talked, drank, ate and breathed. He performed miracles and taught Truth to all who would listen.
Because of His sinless life He was the perfect sacrifice and exchanged His life of righteousness for our life of sin. He died on the cross, was buried in the grave and rose from the dead on the third day. He personally appeared to over 500 of His disciples after His resurrection. He then ascended to heaven and was and still is exalted and enthroned at the right hand of the Father.

The Gospel
The Good News for all mankind is Jesus Christ! Because of who He is and what He has done there is salvation for all who repent and put their faith in Him. In Christ we are a new creation, born again by the Holy Spirit, free from the power of sin, delivered from condemnation and given the righteousness of Christ.
We believe that all the redeemed, once saved, are kept by God’s power and are thus secure in Christ forever. While we cannot earn a right standing with God by doing good works, a life of righteousness and good works is the only appropriate response for someone who has believed the Gospel (Gal. 5:13). So while the Gospel is good news to be believed, a holy lifestyle is an outworking and implication of believing the Gospel.

The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is present and active in our lives and gatherings. He lives in all those who believe and actively guides, strengthens and teaches us. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, a tangible experience of God’s empowering presence. The Holy Spirit has given the body of Christ gifts essential to the growth and maturity of His church.
